The goal of this conference is for participants to leave with a better understanding of the issues facing Transgender and gender non-conforming individuals in the area of

* Legal protections and documentation
* Employment & Education

Regional experts from the medical and health professions as well as transgender advocates and allies will conduct workshops and informational sessions on these issues. Workshops are geared to Service Providers, Medical and Legal professionals, Trans and gender non-conforming community, allies and all those interested in the Health and Law issues facing the Transgender and gender non-conforming communities.

Workshops will cover topics such as

Standards of Care for Providers
Community discussion on the Standards of Care
Inclusive health care, counseling and sex therapy with Gender non-conforming clients
